Former Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand says he expects Antonio Conte to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer.Conte, who took over from Nuno Espirito Santo in November, has seen Tottenham lose four of their last five Premier League games, leaving them behind in their quest to qualify for next season’s Champions League. After the defeat to Burnley, Conte said the situation was “unacceptable” and hinted he could leave the club.He said: “I have to talk to the club, I’m too honest to close my eyes and go on like this and take my salary.I will take my responsibility.I am open to every decision because I want to help Tottenham.”Four defeats in the last five games is the first time that has happened in my life. This is unacceptable.”Rio Ferdinand believes the former Chelsea boss will leave the club and have no regrets about doing so.”I don’t think he will be here after the summer.Based on what I’ve seen in the media and the players he’s with.”I thought he would be very comfortable listening, AND I didn’t know it was bad, and he wouldn’t feel anything about walking away.”He is not a man to regret and I would be very surprised if he was still here.”As players there are times when confidence is low and you are looking for answers and then look around the dressing room.” If you have a leader, they will step up and instill that belief again, but you never expect your manager to step up and speak up in failure like that. I never knew that.He sounds like a failure to me.”When you are down and you expect the manager to pull you up, you look into his eyes and he still has faith.”I was disappointed to see that with him. He’s a winner. He grafts.I just hope it’s an exciting moment.”They didn’t spend their money wisely and I agree that Poh [Mauricio Pochettino] punched 100 per cent above his weight. The way they dropped their cards after that was crazy.”If Kane had said he wanted to leave, Conte would not have stayed and worked with him.”
